Gisou Welcomes Bee Season With A Pop-Up
On May 20th 2022, we celebrated World Bee Day with our first-ever Bee Season Pop-Up in Amsterdam. With this world premiere, Gisou wants to raise awareness around the importance of bees and inspire a new generation of beekeepers.

The Gisou Bee Season Pop-Up
For the first time ever, our Gisou community was able to experience what it feels like to be in our Mirsalehi Bee Garden. We took over Prinsengracht 455 space in Amsterdam for 3 days (May 20-May 22, 2022) to bring the ultimate destination of Gisou heritage and sustainable beekeeping where flowers, honey and haircare come together in one place.

Visitors could learn about how to become a beekeeper and the craftsmanship of beekeeping directly from our seasoned experts, and unearth one-of-a-kind treasures on display in our Mirsalehi Heritage Museum.
Flowers by Rae Blooms
Guests of the Gisou Pop-Up in Amsterdam could also bring home a curated wildflower bouquet courtesy of Australian flower artist and founder of Rae Blooms, Ariella Hill — her unique ability to play with shapes and textures as they relate to flora and fauna turns the botanical world into artistic masterpieces.
Introducing Negar Mirsalehi, Beekeeper-in-Chief
This Bee Season - starting May 20 and ending on August 20 for National Honey Bee Day - we are proud to introduce Negin’s sister, Negar Mirsalehi, who is the brand’s first-ever Beekeeper-in-Chief. The wealth of experience she has accumulated after decades of apprenticeship under her father will be shared throughout Bee Season — with Gisou devotees visiting the Pop-Up, takeovers on our social channels and in the media.
